The construction of the cathedral of Teramo began in the twelfth century and continued over the following centuries. The facade is distinctive for its large arched portal, from which a Gothic tympanum rises, decorated with statues. Walking along the right-hand side of the church we come to the tall tower composed of various storeys and enlivened by lancet windows. Walking past the belltower we find ourselves before another facade, which closes a second church added to the first in the early fourteenth century.
