Here we are in the heart of Udine, in Piazza della Libertà. The Loggia del Lionello, built between 1448 and 1456, welcomes us with its impeccable Venetian Gothic style. On the opposite side we can see the elegant Porticato di San Giovanni, overshadowed by the Torre dell'Orologio (clock tower), with the two Moors who mark the time. In the background the imposing Castello del Cinquecento watches over the city from on high.
