Sciacca, Sicily as Pietro Germi saw it

Sciacca is a small Sicilian Marseille, dominated by the large thermal baths square that overlooks Africa, near the temples of Agrigento and Selinunte and the theatre of Eraclea Minoa. Sciacca was also the natural set of movies, known as ""In the name of the law"" and ""Seduced and Abandoned"": Fellini was in love with this place and suggested to the director Pietro Germi to shoot there his movies. Thanks to these movies, sailors and crafts' districts, as well as sacred places of this delightful town have always been imprinted in the eyes of all the Italians.
