The city of Memphis, in the province of Agrigento, rises along the southwest coast of Sicily, placed between the area of the Doric temples of Selinunte and the area of the excavations of Eraclea Minoa. It is famous for its vineyards, considered by many people the largest in Europe: Memphis based its main activities on wine. Among many architectural treasures there is Villa Ravidà, one of the most impressive neoclassical buildings in the province of Agrigento.
