The Foresta Umbra is located in the heart of Gargano area, in Apulia region, between Vico, Vieste and Monte Sant'Angelo. It is called "Umbra" because it is "shady": the sun's rays find it a real struggle to penetrate the dense foliage of the ten woodland hectares.
